Anthony Guillaume

Anthony was born November 12, 2003.  At nine weeks old we were given the shocking news that he has Down syndrome.  Not only were we adjusting to life with a newborn, now we were dealing with a diagnosis, possible medical issues and questions of the future.  We didn't know where to turn, who to talk to, we didn't know where to start.  With the support of family and friends we were able to move forward through that difficult adjustment period.

Today the grief and confusion we felt are a faint memory.  Anthony is an energetic and intelligent boy.  He is the light of our life!  In 2004 we weren't sure how to deal with Anthony, now, we don't know how we could live without him!
